She will escape to a place where the dreamers lie
Those who dreamed to escape the darkness of life
Now peaceful, calm and far from this world of pain
Dreams that mean nothing, dreams that only hurt
This daydreamer can’t dream anymore. She’s lost
Her dreams are empty. She has nothing left to give
Her life has gone. To the place where the dreamers lie.

This is full of pain but very poetic indeed, Rayne.

I hope you are OK, Rayne, and that you are not the “she” who “has nothing left to give.”

She is me. I’m hanging in there though, even though it’s extremely hard to do that right now.

Wonderfully written! Writing about escaping darkness is tough to describe and you did a great job. Hugs, Deb 🙂
